1. Take a moment to enjoy

First and foremost, take a moment to just enjoy being engaged. This is a special time in your life, and it is important to take a step back and appreciate the love and commitment that you and your partner have made to each other.

2. SET A BUDGET

This is perhaps the most important step in planning your wedding. Determine how much you and your partner are comfortable spending on the event and stick to it. This will help you make important decisions about the venue, catering, and other vendors.

3. CHOOSE A VENUE

Once you have a budget in place, start looking for a venue that fits your vision for the big day. Keep in mind the size of your guest list, the location, and the overall aesthetic you want to create.

4. Select a date

The date of your wedding will likely depend on the availability of your chosen venue, but it’s also important to consider the time of year, holidays, and any other important events that may conflict.

5. book vendors

Once you have a date and venue, start booking your vendors. This includes photographers, caterers, florists, and any other services you may need. Be sure to read reviews and meet with vendors in person before making a decision.

8. Create a wedding website

A wedding website is a great way to keep all of your guests informed about your big day. You can include important information such as the date and location, as well as any accommodations, registry, and other details.

9. Start thinking about your wedding attire

Begin looking for the perfect wedding dress, tuxedo, and other attire for you and your wedding party. Keep in mind the season, location, and overall theme of your wedding when making your decisions.
