Katilia and Juan Pablo (or JP like he likes to be called) got engaged on last December at her mother's home in San German, Puerto Rico. While dinner with the family JP got down on one knee with an open ring box and waited for his then girlfriend to turned to see him."It was a huge shock, and it was perfect,"

The wedding day reception took place at the Newark museum, which is the state's largest, felt like the only option for their tastes. It holds art from the Americas, Africa, Asia and the ancient world. JP is a social studies teacher and Katilia loves art, So it was an easy choice. The groom was especially impressed with the Ballantine Mansion, which was built in 1885. The couple were married in Engelhard Court. Their ceremony and reception was held in the sculptures garden.

The bride ditched tradition for her walk down the aisle. "walked into a violin cover of Madonna's 'Like A Prayer". The bride told me that she was so much adrenaline and joy that the only thing to ever come close to that feeling was free falling when she went skydiving.

From getting ready, to the first reveal at the Tibetan altar in the museum's Asia Collection, to the chemistry between all parties involved, which felt as if you were turning up the volume on your favorite song, this wedding was great!

And like the Groom said: "All we could do was jam the hell out of this wedding."..LOL
